What is the size of the needle sewing machine, so the use of satin or silk?
I'm working on a project for one of my friends. This a handbag. The inner layer is or imitation silk or satin, the interface is cumbersome, and the exterior is of brocade. I know what size needle machine should be used for this project. Also, if someone can post links to sites about this kind of knitting needles for use in different tissues, thank you.
Size to use depends on the thickness of the fabric being sewn – in general, you want to push the smaller holes in the fabric as you can while getting a point of satisfaction time. Stitches usually means must pass through the needle (or have the needle back). With fabrics that you mentioned, would be looking for size needles 60 or 70 if they only thing … but with three layers, I'd probably look like a 75 or 80 in 6 layers sewn together, and moved to probably 90, maybe 100 if I miss points suture. Want a "strong" of the needle, rather than with a round toe. If I had to use needles of bodies, I had to use so-called "strong." SCHMETZ, which makes a lot of home sewing needles, has a couple of possibilities – "Microtex" the needle is strong and silky, while "jeans are needles bit stiffer and may sew into a winning combination, taking into account the thickness of the interface (the rigid body of the needle prevents deviate much from Jeans and jump points stitches). If the needle of a reasonable size jeans always ignored, needles I'll try the next one will be "padding" or "patchwork" – both are designed for sewing heavy sandwiches. If you have not looked closely before needles, I have some pictures I took a lot of different sizes and types of needles SCHMETZ a: http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/17206792 needle selection is actually one of the black arts of sewing, I think
