Getting a Girl – How to Be THAT Guy That Gets the Girl
Finding a girl seriously can be frustrating if you don’t know what catches their attention. If you want to get that first date with that cute classmate or an intriguing officemate of yours, here are some tips to make her head turn your way.
Make a lot of friends. Of course, that’s a given. How would you snag girls that way if you’re a stern believer in little human islets? The key to having more chances of dating and getting a girl you want is to make a lot of friends, join groups, maintain contacts, and be outgoing and social. Strong, silent types may make girls go, “hmmmn..”, but after all the intrigue has worn off, you’ll discover that what they were really after is someone with good PR skills. They’ll seek out guys who can talk skillfully and exchange points of view with little effort. Remember that women desire truthful, authentic conversation.
Go out at social functions. Yes, it follows the first point. We’re all social creatures. We’re built to party over here, lounge over there, and mix with people all the way to old age. Staying at home will not increase your chances of getting a girl for a date (except if you have an active Facebook life). Being socially active will make girls notice you.
Be a gentleman. Don’t be a manner disaster during lunch break with the girls or in the all-important prom night. Having the right manners specifically means talking when it’s the right time to talk, not interrupting conversations too often, holding out an empty seat for a potential date, or assisting girls at the door. The right manners speak a lot about you, and do much for effectively getting a girl you want.
A good gentleman always keeps his promises. When you set a time with an expected date, stick to that time and don’t let her keep on waiting for you. Stick to an itinerary, but be spontaneous and creative enough to be interesting. With that said, don’t be late too for social gatherings; your girl will respect you for it, and if you don’t have a date, decent girls will appreciate your responsible attitude.
Don’t be self-serving. The last thing a girl wants is an egotistic kid who jabbers at nothing but baseball stats and blog widgets. Know what your girl wants, and if you have no idea what perks her up, creatively steer your conversations to what she really likes. Everyone appreciates being asked of their interests.
They said chivalry is dead. If you’re a well-meaning guy, you would want to differ. Chivalry is what eventually will get you married in the first place. But kidding aside. If you consider the prospect of marriage too soon, remember that being a gentleman is not always too hard to emulate. Yes, you might argue that we’re in the modern age, but girls still love it when they’re being catered to with respect and kindness. Good manners still rule when it comes to dating and getting a girl you want.
Make her smile from ear to ear. Have a sense of humor. Girls fall for guys that make them laugh especially when they’re feeling down. If you don’t have that funny bone in you, why don’t you dust off that old joke booklet and try to memorize a good joke or two.
