If you have ever owned a bright colored Dooney & Bourke purse, how long did it last before looking?

How do you clean it and how often?
Do you use it everyday? I do and it’s only been 6 months.
I have a bright blue D&B purse and I have had it for three years and it still looks brand new. All I do is clean it with a damp cloth once or twice a month and it looks great!
